Dr. Singh, Skype is great for video calls with relatives and perhaps even between businesses, but it is NOT encrypted. The issue here could be a HIPAA violation waiting to happen. For years, companies that specialize in video-conferencing have used a minimum of 128-bit encryption to keep private conversations private. Yes, they cost money, but they are also secure. And smaller networks don't go down as easily as Skype did last month.
