Glucometer-in-a-cellphone is a great idea, but I wonder how many people are willing to give up their existing cell phones and all the information that is contained to switch to new phone in order to have it contain a built-in glucometer. I think there needs to be some insurance coverage for this in order for the concept to take off since patients can already get a basic glucometer via their insurance coverage.
